If you are concerned about your pet's health, then I have to advise you to consult with a Vet. The symptoms you describe could be the result of many things, so I hope you can understand the difficulty from my position. There are many Veterinarians who will make house calls, perhaps that may work?Hot spots are not contagious, however, if your dog were to have another condition like ringworm, then that is very contagious. Symptoms can look relatively similar.Until you can consult with your Vet, try to keep the areas clean and dry as best you can. Make sure to wash your hands with antibacterial soap before and after touching your dog. As a precaution, you may want to keep your dog separated from your other dogs until you can determine what the issue is.Good luck, Hannah. Please keep me posted on your findings
